Frequently asked questions

What is NailFit?

NailFit is a web app that estimates the size of each nail in millimetres from photos of your hands, to choose the right soft-gel tips. It also gives manicurists a client database and business insights.

How do I measure correctly?

Take 4 front-facing photos in good light: the four fingers of each hand and each thumb alone. Place a credit card or coin flat next to your nails, at the same distance. Then align the calibration line and adjust each nail's edges.

How accurate is it?

It's an estimate: angle, distance and lighting can shift results by around ±0.5 mm. If unsure, check one nail with a soft tape measure.

How do manicurists benefit?

They save each client's sizes and history, send sizing links so clients measure from home, prepare the right tip sets before appointments, and see trends in shapes, materials, colours and sales.

How do clients benefit?

They measure from their phone in minutes, get their sizes by email, and receive better-fitting soft-gel sets without trial and error.

What if I want to cancel?

You can cancel anytime: plans don't renew automatically, so just don't renew. Your access stays active until the end of the 30 days you paid. There are no refunds.

Is the first sizing really free?

Yes, once per email. After that, each self-sizing costs $1. Clients invited by a subscribed manicurist always size at no cost.

What happens to my photos and data?

Self-sizing photos stay on your device. Photos from a manicurist's link are shared only with that studio. You can ask for your data to be deleted at support@nailfit.studio.
